Michigan Transfer Agreement Mcc

The Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) is designed to facilitate the transfer from one institution to another. One of the guiding principles of the agreement is to promote transparency between higher education institutions and to ensure that students have accurate information about transfers. Students who switch to the MCC during or after the 2014 summer semester to begin their studies must meet the requirements of the MTA. Transfer Institutions – GuidesSee comprehensive list of other institutions that have transferarulation agreements with MCC. The information includes website links, contact information, transfer guides and equivalency information for Michigan and partner schools. A minimum score of 2.0 is required for each course. Students can benefit from courses taught by more than one higher education institution to meet the MTA, including courses taught at the MTU and transferred to the community school. A list of approved courses at the end of the MTA can be find on your community college website. Michigan Transfer Agreement This agreement offers the portability of 30 semi-annual credits to meet many (and in some cases all) general educational requirements at participating Michigan colleges and universities. Students who do not complete the full course package required by the MTA receive credit for the courses they take, based on individual course evaluations and established transfer equivalencies. Mott Community College has several agreements with Michigan colleges and universities. These agreements allow students to participate in MCC programs and diplomas in four-year or bachelor`s programs. For students who obtain a professional degree, the curriculum is divided between general educational requirements, which offer a degree of flexibility, and program requirements that are listed by the classes needed to achieve that specific level of association. While these programs are designed to prepare students for entry into the labour market, several articulation agreements allow students to follow higher qualifications, either in 2-2 or 3-1 format. Students will spend two or three years at the MCC before the transfer. The highest degree offered by MCC is the Degree Partner. However, any MCC graduation diploma can serve as a starting point for a bachelor`s degree, although transfer credits may vary depending on the program, class type and transfer school and Hauptschule. WMU Essential Studies (WES) is the program required for all students at Western Michigan University. The courses are designed to help students change smoothly and make a contribution; Develop perseverance and be ready for their future. Students develop the skills that employers look for most in graduates – complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, emotional intelligence, judgment and decision-making. The WES guide is for catalog years from 2020. The MTA completes WES Levels 1 and 2, so transfer students are encouraged to complete the MTA before moving to Western.
